Riding the Waves!

Our last Saturday we spent the most perfect day at "islander" beach. Maddie was playing in the sand and waves having a good time - but to Poppop's dismay she wasn't interested in riding the waves. Then a birthday party of pre-teen boys arrived with their boards. She looked at them - looked at the water - and ran to get her board. She then continued to ride the waves with the boys (if only they knew!) Her head even went under a few times and she loved it! She had a blast...you can see the boys nearby in one of the above pics. This girl is a BEACH girl!
