We traveled to NY for Easter. Maddie had a 103 temperature and was sick with strep throat. Jack had 3 stitches removed above his eye our first day there. We tried to visit and see everyone...but our time was rushed and Maddie really didn't feel good. Luckily the weather was warm and we could play outside. There was still snow on the ground - we got to throw snowballs! Jack didn't like the feeling of the cold in his hands...Maddie enjoyed running around the inn and playing in Majka's office. Not sure when we will head back that way...But there are more pictures coming up!

Maddie's Soccer

Maddie's soccer this year was skills and drills...and a few games of the little ones chasing the ball. In the fall we move onto the real thing! Maddie was fast and loved kicking the ball. She scored a few goals and got the idea of the game! Now she plays with the boys in the neighborhood - and knows what she is doing.

We celebrated St Patrick's day by going to the HHI parade. It was fun but cool...Can't wait to do it again next year! Maddie called it the "green party" - it sure was!

March is long gone...and I haven't posted in sooo long! But better late than never! We were busy - doing what we do. Visits to the petting zoo, the playground, Easter egg hunts, settling into our new house and playing outside! We love our new life!

More March pictures are coming...as well as April and May! I am using this blog to record Jack and Maddie's childhood - and don't want to miss a month!
