Jack is growing so fast! At 5 weeks he is already about 11 1/2 pounds! His eyes are focused and he is working on holding his head up. I have even heard Jack laugh in his sleep. He is beginning to have more awake time during the day - hopefully he will sleep longer at night soon too. Jack's first plane trip is on Saturday when Maddie, Jack and I head to Nana and Poppop's for a few weeks. We hope to escape the snow and the cold for a little while. Maddie is excited to see Nana and Poppop (she calls them everyday and wishes for them to come to her house everynight!). She also wants to play at the playground and at the beach. Hopefully the weather will cooperate! Maddie continues to be a very helpful big sister. In her words "I just LOVE Jack!"

Big Sister and Little Brother

We are in a deep freeze this week...but we are staying cozy warm inside!

Jack is three weeks old. He likes to be held (don't they all!) He is sleeping and eating and doing well. A good baby! Mom is even getting some sleep!

Madigail is a great big sister. She (tries) to help with everything! And just wants to hold, hug, and kiss her little brother. She is very protective already.

We are settling into a routine of naps, feedings, and playtime. I could get used to staying home!
