My Boy Jack!

LOVES his Nana!
Dr and Great Daddy...Jack loves playing with his sister's baby dolls!
Crazy Always on the Go Little Boy!
Down the BIG slide!

Jack is a sweet caring little boy who adores his sister. He follows Maddie everywhere and wants to play with the "big" boys in the neighborhood. Jack is non-stop action! He doesn't stop until he sleeps. He loves his cars and motorcycles but he also loves dolls, his kitchen, and everything Maddie has! Jack is working on lots of words. Right now he says - Momma, Dadda, Madigail, Nana, and Poppop. He says a few sentences too! All day long I have to answer "wheres my nana? wheres my poppop? wheres my dada?", "Whats that?" (pointing!), "I'm done!" and "poop poop". Yes, he is even potty training himself (I am not pushing this at all!) When he says "no" it is a sweet little "no"...his "bye-bye" will melt your heart. If you have a boo-boo or are sad Jack will kiss you and make it better. A hug when his sister is crying usually helps stop her tears. Jack is growing up way too fast!

Maddie's First Soccer Game!

Waiting to start!
Looking Cute!
Ummm let's play!
Yeah Team!
And Let's Go!
Maddie is on a team of 5 girls aged 4-6. She is actually the youngest! They only play 3 on 3 right now. Our first game went great - they really passed the ball (AMAZING for 4 year old soccer!) but the other team just ran and scored (a lot!). Maddie had some tears...she just wanted to score a goal. She fell twice and got upset. The best thing? She went back out and played! And she wants to do it again! Now our focus is on just running, kicking the ball, smiling, and having fun! Please don't tell her to score a goal! LOL!

Maddie goes to Pre-School!

First Day of School Smiles!
My Purple Girl!
Jack wanted to stay (NOT!)
Open House Day...
She LOVES school!
Madigail attends a small church based pre-school 3 days a week. This is the same school she went to last year. She was excited to return to her school - and I am so glad I decided to keep her in the same place. Consitency is good! When we were leaving the Open House - she hugged a few of her friends good bye. So sweet! We are so lucky there is a program like this available here. Maddie will learn her numbers and letters (she knows most of them!), will write her name, and will learn about God. She LOVES school - and seems to be a teachers' child. Of course she doesn't get in any trouble there! Next year she rides the school bus and goes to Kindergarten...I am teary eyed just thinking of it!

Lawton Stables

Maddie's Pony ride

Jack's Pony Ride (he is doing I am 1!)

The deer followed Maddie around!

Maddie rides Romeo with Aunt Jen

Aunt Jen, Maddie, and Harley (a Clydesdale!)

Another fun summer day...we went to see Harley and all the animals in the petting zoo. Jack loves screaming at the chickens and Maddie loves the ponies. She has been asking for a pony ride all summer - so today was the day! She doesn't get excited - smiles and takes it all in! Then we headed down to Harbor Town playground for a picnic lunch and some fun in the BEST playground ever. Both M & J were asleep before we were out of Sea Pines! Thanks Aunt Jen for joining us!

Labor Day Beach Fun!

Always smiling at the beach!
Literally the only ones there! On Labor Day!
King and Queen of the Hill
Lovin' the beach! Looks almost like he is standing on water!
We spent Labor Day on the beach (of course!)...when we got there it was raining and we were under a big huge dark cloud. Island weather is funny - it was sunny in about a half hour. We waited it out and had a beautiful sun shining day! Maddie and Jack have loved the beach all summer...they play, build sand castles, swim, chase birds, catch starfish, hermit crabs, and fish. They have both become quite the swimmers too!
What a wonderful way to grow up!
