August went by so fast...tomorrow we head to NY. A long trip.

We will miss the beach and the pool and our friends here.

But we will be back soon (and for good!)

Time to head home and pack up our stuff....

Maddie and Jack have grown up so much.

Maddie is a little person with her own thoughts, dreams, and needs.

Jack is in love with his sister.

He is crawling all over and getting into everything.

He has started pulling himself up on things - I am so not ready for Jack to walk!

I know once he starts he will be running everywhere....

Maddie has no fear. She picks up lizards, holds 3 frogs in each hand at a time, scoops bugs out of the pool. We went to the alligator show and visited the butterfly habitat at the Coastal museum. Even Jack touched the alligator -not quite what Mom expected! I thought he would just get his picture taken next to it - but Jack reached out! Good thing the gator's mouth was taped closed.

Dan was here for a week and got to spend lots of time watching our fish (Maddie) practice swimming, play on the beach, sing with Shannon Tanner (for the 2nd time) and have lots of fun! We will miss Daddy....

For Madigail's 3rd Birthday we celebrated with a Luau at Nana and Poppop's pool in Hilton Head. Madigail's cousins and friends all came. We swam and jumped in the bounce house. Painted fishies and fished for duckies.

The cake was yummy. Everyone had lots of fun! Thank you for sharing Madigail's special day with us and for the wonderful presents!
