Jack's Special Day!

When your birthday is 3 days before Christmas it is hard to make it super special! But we did it! Nana, Poppop, Madigail, Aunt Jen, Aunt Mimi, and Mommy all came together to get Jack the best present ever....a truck! Jack lives for his truck now. We have to drive it every day. At first he couldn't steer very well but now he is awesome! He likes to just go to the garage and look at his truck. He drives around and picks up garbage - playing garbage truck. Jack is very specific about what neighborhood kids can join him for a ride...the lucky ones, he pats the seat and says "hop in the truck!" His new wheels even has a radio. Jack loves changing the station and sometimes stops to dance a little bit!

For Jack's first ever birthday party we had a safari party. We invited lots of friends and family (I think there were 25 children at one point!) and the animal people...it was a huge hit! The kids loved the animals! It was a little cold but everyone was happy. Especially Jack! He ran around visiting all of his friends, he held animals, ate chips, went in the bounce house and played in the sandbox. He was the energizer bunny! Jack looked so proud....and happy! He loved his special day! I can't believe he is 3....no more baby! Jack is sweet. He loves his sister more than anyone in the world! And he loves trucks....
