Maddie and the hermit crab...no fear until one pinched her!

Good food and good friends...Last Saturday we went to the seafood festival and found a shady spot near the hermit crab races. The highlight of our trip was Lauren and Maddie's hermit crabs going to the finals...and Maddie's Oso coming in 2nd place! Yes we were suckered in and came home with a blue crab named Oso (after a character on a Disney channel show). We know Nana will not keep it for us when we head back to NY (maybe he will go back to the beach?) The live music, food, and friends were good. Even Jack had a ball kicking his feet and playing in the shade under a tree!
